The Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (RIBO) is warning consumers of a recent scam that’s spreading throughout the province via newspaper ads. The scam is using the company name Security Insurance Inc. and directs victims to wire money through Western Union, but they are never sent the promised policy.
